Booking a Mass

In order to book a Mass, please try and go to the Church where you wish the Mass to be celebrated and have the details entered into the diary there. The best time is to call to the Sacristy is after Mass.

The diary for Skibbereen is in the Parish office with our Parish Secretary.  To book a Mass you may contact the Parish Office 028 22828 (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm) or you may also call to the Sacristy after Mass.

 

Getting a Mass Card Signed

To ensure that your card is signed, please call into the Sacristy after any Mass. Or, if this does not suit, you are welcome to call at the Parish Office on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings from 10 am to 1 pm.

 

Church Dues

The following Offerings and Stipends are suggested for Church Celebrations:

• Baptisms €50
• Marriages from €200
• Funerals €200
• Mass Cards €10 minimum
• November Novena Contributions €20
• Station offerings, Spring and Autumn €40

 

Funding our Parishes

The contribution you give at Mass (Basket Collections) is used for the day to day running of the Parishes.

The collection on Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, Spring & Autumn “Dues” Envelopes and the November Novena provides the Priests with their income.

Note 1 – Some people prefer to make their contribution by Standing Order and a system is in place to facilitate this.

Note 2 – In 2021 both Parishes will be introducing a secure ”Donate “system through the website.

There is rosary every Tuesday evening at 8.00 pm at the Grotto, Cork Road, Skibbereen
